SEASONALITY IN UBUD

Bali enjoys a balmy year-round tropical climate. Temperatures average a very pleasant 27°C (80°F) in the Ubud area and a little lower at night. The best time to visit is May through to September when there’s less humidity. In Bali, there is always the chance of rain, but showers tend to be an hour-long downpour, rather than all-day drizzle.

DESIGNING SERENITY: THE ARCHITECTURE of COMO Uma Ubud

At COMO Uma Ubud, architecture becomes an experience. The resort opens with a light-filled central hub, where the lobby, pool, and bar come together as a welcoming gathering space. As guests move beyond this openness, they follow meandering garden paths, enclosed by tall greenery that creates a quiet, almost hidden journey to each private room and suite.

The vision began with Koichiro Ikebuchi, whose minimalist Japanese sensibilities shaped the first design, and was later reinterpreted in 2012 by designer Maximilian Jencquel to reflect the feeling of a tranquil hillside home, embedded within nature.
